The Ukrainian melodramatic series "Following the Heart" tells the story of a young single mother named Svetlana. She is raising her daughter on her own and is in search of a job. Hurrying to a job interview, Svetlana narrowly avoids getting hit by a car. By a stroke of luck, a man named Oleg comes to her rescue. He recently lost his wife and is raising a young daughter on his own. Svetlana's savior turns out to be her future boss. The two fall in love, but Oleg is already planning to marry someone else...
