Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (2002 - 2005)

The Japanese sci-fi anime series "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" tells the story of Major Motoko Kusanagi, Batou, and other members of the secretive "Section 9." They work to resolve an international crisis involving hostages, hunt down military technology that has gone rogue, and investigate cases of suicide among outdated androids. When a close friend of Togusa dies, the operatives begin pursuing a mysterious hacker.
