"Vanitas no Carte" is a Japanese anime series about a vampire who is rejected by his own kind. Vanitas is a true oddity among his fellow bloodsuckers. He is feared and avoided because of a strange omen: on the night of his birth, the moon in the sky shone not red, but blue - an ill omen for vampires. Seeking revenge on his detractors and unraveling the mysteries of his own life, Vanitas begins to record everything that happens to him.
