"The Pentaverate" is a comedic American series about a secret society that covertly influences the fate of the world. In 1347, the Great Plague ravages Europe, claiming thousands of lives. Five individuals unite and make horrifying vows under the cover of night to change history and save humanity. Since then, these "gray cardinals" have audaciously meddled in any historical event, from world wars to the outcome of a baseball game. In the 21st century, a Canadian journalist accidentally uncovers their trail.
