The series "Chief of War" is a historical drama starring Jason Momoa about the colonization of the Hawaiian Islands. The story revolves around a high-ranking native Hawaiian who is loved and respected by his fellow tribesmen. He tries to resist foreign invaders but lacks the strength and resources to do so. Hawaii finds itself at the crossroads of influence from different nations. At different times, the British, French, Russians, and Americans attempt to seize control of the islands. Despite this, the Hawaiians manage to preserve their national identity.
