The crime series "The Gold," based on real events, tells the story of the largest robbery in the history of Great Britain on November 26, 1983. Six armed men break into the Brink's-Mat warehouse near London's Heathrow Airport. However, instead of the usual inconspicuous loot they expected to find, the criminals accidentally discover gold bars worth 26 million pounds sterling. From a typical theft of construction materials, the crime turns into the heist of the century.
