The story revolves around a female investigator named Elena. She is involved in investigating cases related to cybercrime and violence against minors. While working on a new case, Elena travels to Italy. Twenty years ago, she lived in Venice. There, the protagonist encounters her former suitor, Daniel. He married a woman who was once Elena's friend and also joined the police force. Now, the ex-lovers have to work together.
