Ugol (2022 - 2023)

This is a story about the challenging fate of miners in Russia. The action begins in the 1990s, during the collapse of the Soviet Union, and continues to the present day. Each miner works in inhumane conditions and cannot be sure that he will not remain underground until the end of his days. But in order to provide for their families in a small town where it is difficult to find other work, they have to take risks. The multi-part project unfolds the story of the life of an entire dynasty of miners.
