The TV series "Neighbors" is a Russian comedy about the residents of a small cottage settlement near the town of Chugunsk. The builders had intended to create a second "Rublyovka" here, but due to a sudden financial crisis, the construction was abandoned right at the beginning. They only managed to complete two houses, which were ironically bought by two completely different families: the Russian Polevys and the Americans Shenkli. They consider each other "dumb Americans" and "communist alcoholics," but now they have to live side by side.
