The adventure detective story is dedicated to the investigation of a mysterious and illegal desecration of the burial of a military officer who participated in the Russo-Turkish War. Someone has stolen the general Mescheryakov's orders, golden weapons, and other artifacts that hold both material and historical value. Major Olga Nikolaeva takes on the investigation and discovers that not only members of a criminal group are behind the crime, but also a respected professor.
