This is a gripping crime story about a series of crimes that lead to unexpected consequences. The main suspect in the case turns out to be a well-known investigator. At the center of the events is Antonov, the top graduate of the Police Academy. He joins the department as an operative under the leadership of the experienced detective Egorov. Antonov admires this man, as he is a true legend in detective work. But gaining his favor proves to be difficult.
