The Chief (2011 - …)

The TV series "Chef" is a Russian crime drama about Colonel Viktor Rastorguev, a police officer in the capital city. The protagonist loves his job and is preparing for a promotion, but his career is shattered by a tragic accident. Wanting to protect an unknown girl, Vitya gets involved in a street fight and uses a weapon. The investigation justifies his actions, but he can no longer dream of working in Moscow. He is transferred to St. Petersburg to take the place of the deceased chief of the local police station and investigate his strange suicide.
