Two years have passed since the events of the previous season. Olya and Seryozha are facing a midlife crisis and trying to fight it. Seryozha feels apathetic and cannot find joy in anything. While the Baryshevs are dealing with their own problems, Nadezhda still fears romantic relationships with Evgeny. She wonders if they should take it to the next level. At the same time, the young couple Misha and Tanya undergo a fidelity test.
