After the greatest star in the Spanish music scene accidentally dies during a performance, one of his fans decides to seize the opportunity and escape from his ordinary life by assuming the identity of his idol. The musical idol Chimera commits suicide in front of the audience. His most devoted fan, Lázaro, takes on the singer's persona, appropriating his achievements. The harsh laws of show business force Lázaro to give up his own life, turning it into a spectacle.
