The TV series "Nesterov's Loop" is a crime-historical detective set in the Brezhnev era in the USSR. In the 1980s, the leader falls seriously ill, and the country finds itself in chaos and corruption. Two powerful law enforcement agencies, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the KGB, divide the territory between themselves. A young and honest police officer, Lieutenant Kirill Nesterov, serves in the MIA. One day, he apprehends a typical "difficult teenager" with a mysterious package, only to discover stolen paintings cut out of their frames inside.
