The protagonist of the story is Andrei Kovalev, a graduate of the S.M. Kirov Military Medical Academy. He is known by everyone as a talented and unique individual. A hero of the Russian Federation and an outstanding surgeon, he spent several years in a war zone as part of the country's peacekeeping forces. He has saved hundreds of lives. It is difficult for Andrei to imagine himself outside of his beloved profession. However, due to an accidental injury that resulted in a serious trauma, Kovalev is forced to leave his profession...
