"Old Frames" is a Russian detective series about the work of a special unit of criminal investigation. Alexandra Tokareva, an experienced female investigator, accidentally disrupts a highly important operation. As a result, she is "exiled" to lead a new, rather useless but image-focused department for investigating unsolved crimes. The team consists of heroes from the "old guard" - retired police officers, pensioners, and former employees with disciplinary records. However, their very first case unexpectedly leads to triumph.
