Devyat zhizney Nestora Mahno (2007 - 2007)

The series "Nine Lives of Nestor Makhno" is a Russian-Ukrainian drama about the fate of a controversial historical figure during the time of the revolution. Anarchist Nestor Makhno spends two decades behind bars, convicted for his involvement in murders and robberies. But the approaching flames of the year 1917 once again grant him freedom and strength. Now he is known as Batka Makhno and has the power to shape history with his own hands. However, Nestor's political and personal beliefs clash with all warring factions - from the tsarist regime to the Red Army.
