This is a story about three friends who have dedicated their lives to the state security agencies. The events take place in the 1970s in the Soviet Union. The main characters meet in the early days of their service in the Committee and immediately become close to each other. At that time, they couldn't even imagine how many trials they would have to go through together. Time will prove to be a formidable force against their friendship. Meanwhile, the former "clients" of the heroes - dissidents, foreign spies - will transform into bankers, politicians, and investors.
