The focus of the story is on a blogger from Moscow named Tanya Blok. In search of sensations, she heads to the village of Nizhnie Brody. The reason for her report is grandiose: one morning, all the residents of a neighboring village disappeared. Everything was left behind - their financial savings, documents, and all their pets. But the people themselves seemed to have vanished. Tanya decides to conduct her own investigation to prove to her editor that he unjustly fired such a first-class specialist.
