"The Lørenskog Disappearance" is a Norwegian crime drama series based on true events. One day, the wife of a well-known and respected millionaire businessman disappears without a trace in a small northern town. Everyone expects that the criminals will demand a ransom for the woman's life any day now, but that doesn't happen. The husband is torn apart, and a public scandal grows. The police have to deal with an enraged press and deceitful informants in order to uncover the truth.
