15: A Quinceañera Story (2017 - 2017)

The documentary series "15: A Quinceañera Story" tells the stories of the Quinceañera tradition in Latin American countries. On this day, teenage girls with Mexican and Latin roots go through a ritual of transitioning into adulthood. It is not just a birthday party, but a true ancient ritual. However, it is not only regular fifteen-year-old girls who want to go through it, but also representatives of the LGBTQ+ community, undocumented migrants, and individuals with mixed heritage.
