A young man named Kirill is studying to become a psychologist. He is in love with a girl named Sonya, but she is only interested in being friends with him. They used to be good friends before, but Kirill secretly had feelings for her. Kirill is convinced that he can make Sonya fall in love with him if he studies the psychology of the friend zone. He decides to dedicate his coursework to this topic. However, in order to prove that true love can grow from friendship, Kirill decides to test his theory on other people.
