The sci-fi horror series Scanners tells the story of two women with extrasensory abilities who are trying to escape from agents of a secret organization. The events take place in one of the parallel universes to ours, where the hidden power over the world belongs to people who can read minds and manipulate the consciousness of others. They are called scanners, and they are led by a man named Darryl Revok. He gathers the strongest scanners around him, but not all of them are willing to carry out his insane ideas.
