The story revolves around a young woman named Marina Gusko. She spent her childhood in Azerbaijan. The girl's youth was carefree. She became a teacher, married her beloved, and soon they had children. Marina naively believed in everything that the Soviet authorities proclaimed on the television screens. She was convinced that a bright future awaited her and her loved ones. But soon, difficult times came in her relationship with her husband. At the same time, changes for the worse began in the Soviet Union.
