Iljimae (2008 - 2008)

The series "Iljimae" is a South Korean historical action film based on the legends of Robin Hood. The young man, Ren, better known as Iljimae, earned this nickname because he leaves behind a beautiful plum tree symbol at the scenes of his crimes. Ren was born into a noble and wealthy family during the Joseon Dynasty in Korea, but he sided with the common people. Now, he robs corrupt officials and wealthy merchants to give their money to the poor.
