Spring Waltz (2006 - 2006)

The protagonist of the South Korean drama series "Spring Waltz" is a boy named Lee Su-ho. He lives with his father, a compulsive gambler. In order to protect the child from angry creditors, the man takes him to a small island to stay with his old friend. The woman has a daughter named Yoon Eun-young, who is the same age as Su-ho. The children become close friends, like brother and sister, but soon it is revealed that Eun-young is seriously ill. Everything worsens when Su-ho's father steals the money that was raised for her expensive surgery.
