The story revolves around a man who has been working at a bookie's office for many years. He is desperately trying to cope with an impending crisis. The authorities are planning to legalize sports gambling in the country. The main character faces numerous difficulties in both his personal and professional life. Clients and colleagues often behave poorly. In an attempt to solve his problems and get his life back on track, the hero wanders through various corners of Los Angeles.
