Shoebox Zoo (2004 - 2005)

The heroine of the fantasy series "Shoebox Zoo" is an eleven-year-old girl named Marnie, who receives a mysterious gift from a stranger on her birthday. A seller of antique items gives her a dusty box with figurines of amazing animals. But at home, Marnie is in for an unexpected surprise: the animals not only come to life but also speak to her in human language. They tell her that they were once students of a powerful sorcerer, but as punishment for their misbehavior, he turned them into toys.
