The central character is Emma, a 30-year-old woman who is disillusioned with her ten-year marriage to Nando and her family life. She feels that her life has lost all meaning. Trapped in the trap of routine and domesticity, Emma often wonders what would have happened if she had known better and not accepted Nando's proposal. The heroine is preparing for a divorce. A couple of days later, when she was planning to meet friends to witness a rare lunar eclipse, a time glitch sends her back ten years, to 2008.
