The series Silk is a spin-off of the popular Spider-Man film series. Cindy Moon is a classmate of the well-known teenager Peter Parker. One day, she experiences the same fate as Peter himself. She is bitten by a spider that is infected with radiation. Soon, Cindy realizes that something strange is happening to her body. She becomes stronger, more agile, and faster, and silk threads start to emerge from her fingertips. The high school student transforms into a superheroine named Silk, with spider-like abilities.
