The protagonist of the Russian drama series "Actor" is Ivan Lipatov, a young and not very successful graduate of a theater school. For years, he has been knocking on the doors of film companies and going to various auditions, but fame is not in a hurry to come his way. One day, Vanya gets the most challenging role of his life, and perfect execution of it becomes a matter of principle for him. The guy has to play a successful family man and businessman... but not on screen, but in real life.
