The Spanish series "Smiley" is based on the play of the same name by Guillaume Clua. The story revolves around a young man named Alexis who has a non-traditional sexual orientation. For a long time, he communicates with a charming young man and hopes for mutual feelings, but the friend suddenly disappears and stops responding to messages on social media. Disappointed, Alexis records a voice message expressing all his emotions. However, the recording accidentally gets sent not to the intended recipient, but to a completely unknown man named Bruno.
