"Guest from the Future" is a Soviet science fiction mini-series about a time traveler from the 6th grade of a regular Moscow school. One day, pioneer Kolya Gerasimov sees a mysterious stranger on the street who doesn't resemble anyone from his time. Following the girl, he discovers a real time machine in the basement of an abandoned house. He travels to the future, where he finds a device for reading thoughts, encounters space pirates, a noble robot named Verter, and his amazing peer, Alice.
