The focus is on American prisoners awaiting their fate on death row. Each of their stories can be presented from different angles. Most of the convicts will be punished for murder. The series features footage from American prisons that were previously off-limits to outsiders. Each convict shares their life story and recounts the events that led to their crime. Viewers will learn about the motives and feelings of real criminals.
