The Franchise (2024 - …)

"The Franchise" is a comedy-drama series about a film crew trying to create a new superhero franchise. A young producer becomes obsessed with the idea of adapting a popular comic book and assembles a creative team. The project is meant to become the next big hit from the "dream factory." However, the creators constantly face obstacles from various politicians, businessmen, critics, patrons, religious fanatics, and higher-ups. In the end, the film turns out to be completely different from what was originally envisioned.
