Nezavisimyy (2023 - …)

"Independent" is a Russian-Abkhazian drama series about a self-nominated presidential candidate. Teymuraz is a young man who recently buried his brother and took on his debts. Along with his wife, children, and parents, he is forced to live in his mother-in-law's house. Meanwhile, he risks his life every day working as a rescuer in the Ministry of Emergency Situations. But Teymuraz's patience finally runs out when the authorities decide to store radioactive waste in a cave that is sacred to his family. He decides to become the authority himself.
