The TV series "A.L.G.I.R." is a complex drama about the darkest pages of Soviet history. The story takes place during the war and revolves around several women with tragic destinies. Their husbands were declared traitors to the Motherland based on anonymous denunciations, and the heroines themselves, along with their children, were sent to a women's camp in Kazakhstan. Among them are Olga Pavlova, the wife of an aircraft designer, Sofia Ter-Ashaturova, an opera singer, and many others. They all have to survive in unbearable conditions.
