A detective retro-drama starring Alexandra Bortich and Grigory Antipenko. Moscow, 1934. Throughout the country, there are Torgsins - "stores for trading with foreigners" - oases of prosperity and abundance. In exchange for precious gems, antiques, and currency, anyone can purchase everything they need in a wide range: from expensive furs to flour and felt boots. The plot follows a girl named Lida who moves to Moscow with her brother and gets a job as a translator in a Torgsin. Instead of a salary, she asks the store director, Viktor Serebrov, to help her solve the mystery of an emerald pendant that she inherited from her father. Meanwhile, a gang is operating in Moscow, targeting owners of emerald jewelry. Visitors to the Torgsin are in danger...
