The series Unruly tells the story of the life and career of the first-ever black heavyweight boxing champion. Jack Arthur Johnson began fighting at the age of just 16. Even then, he weighed 88 kg at a height of 186.5 cm. White fans dubbed him the "Giant from Galveston," while African Americans called him "Little Arthur." In those times, the path of a professional boxer was closed off to black athletes, but Johnson defied the system and became a symbol of resistance for all African Americans.
