Unveiled: Surviving La Luz del Mundo (2022 - 2022)

"Unveiled: Surviving La Luz del Mundo" is a documentary project about a scandalous legal case. The leader of a large religious sect finds himself in the defendant's seat. Several decades later, the victims decide to speak out about the violence they endured within the community of La Luz del Mundo. Many of the participants in this movement were very young at the time. They all suffered from the actions of the influential movement's founders, which spread across Mexico and America. The leaders promised their followers "eternal salvation," but in reality, they subjected them to cruel torment.
