The story revolves around a young girl named Anastasia Kirsanova. She is trying to escape from her persistent fiancé Timofey, whom her mother has arranged for her, and gets involved with a stranger from Moscow named Denis. Nastya impulsively marries him, only to find out the next morning that her newlywed husband has disappeared, leaving behind only the marriage certificate. Nastya can't get Denis out of her mind and searches for him everywhere. But finding the Moscow playboy is difficult, and in the meantime, Timofey becomes increasingly insistent.
