Mayor Vetrov (2007 - 2007)

The TV series "Major Vetrov" is a Russian crime action film about a retired veteran of the Afghan War. Former special forces soldier Roman Vetrov transitions to civilian life and joins the police force, specifically the narcotics department. However, he soon discovers that his principles work against him in this new environment. Corrupt higher-ups, deals with the mafia, and rigged courts are all obstacles that Roman tries to avoid as he acts according to his conscience. As a result, he loses his father, his beloved girlfriend, and his career, but the hero never gives up on his quest for justice.
