The TV series "Between us, the deep sea" tells the story of the renowned child psychotherapist Andrey Batalov. Together with his wife Vera, he travels to Turkey to celebrate their wedding anniversary. However, work catches up with him even at the resort: the son of the hotel owner and his Russian wife Svetlana stopped speaking several years ago. The distraught mother begs the specialist for help, but Vera has no intention of sharing her husband's free time with anyone. A storm hits the town, during which Svetlana kidnaps the doctor and locks him in the hotel.
