Le comte de Monte Cristo (1998 - 1998)

"The Count of Monte Cristo" is a fictional drama series based on the famous novel by Alexandre Dumas. Young captain Edmond Dantes returns from a long voyage to his beloved Mercedes. They plan to get married immediately and spend their lives together. But right in the midst of the celebration, the police burst into Edmond's house. The hero is taken to prison - the ominous Chateau d'If. He realizes that a conspiracy against him has been woven by the closest people who coveted both his bride and his position.
