"Katvas" is the nickname given by the employees of a real estate agency to their formidable boss, Katerina Vasilyevna Tikhonova, who never cuts anyone any slack, especially her son-in-law Yuri. Katerina believes that Yuri is unworthy of her daughter Gala and does everything in her power to break them up. Consumed by work and family problems, Katerina doesn't even notice that her personal driver Maxim is in love with her. But pride and prejudice govern her emotions here as well. In order to find her own happiness and not completely destroy her daughter's happiness, Katerina will have to go against her own principles.
