The series Helltown is a crime thriller about the life of writer Kurt Vonnegut before he achieved worldwide fame, based on the novel by Casey Sherman. The events take place in 1969. Kurt lives with his wife and five children on Cape Cod. He works as a car salesman and writes as a hobby. But everything changes when the bodies of two murdered women are discovered in the sand dunes on the outskirts of Provincetown. Vonnegut is convinced that he can solve the case and begins hunting down the serial killer.
