Karina Krasnaya (2016 - 2016)

In the late 1960s, in the USSR, Karina (Marina Konyashkina) lives with her parents in a small resort town in the south of the country. She has recently graduated from school and works as a seamstress. Karina has been dating Mikhail (Alexey Koryakov) for several years, who plans to enter MGIMO and become a diplomat. They are in love and happy, dreaming of a beautiful family life. But their idyll comes to an end when Mikhail hits a pedestrian on the road. In order to save her beloved and his future, Karina decides to take the blame. However, Mikhail, guilty of causing the person's death, not only allows Karina to confess, but also breaks up with her. Their great love turns out to be a deception. Karina is saved from prison by her father's acquaintance, the head of a watch workshop, German Nikolaev (Sergey Yushkevich). Despite the significant age difference, he unexpectedly confesses his love to Karina and proposes to her. Karina accepts Nikolaev's proposal, hoping that with a mature, reliable, and loving man, she will find peace and happiness. But she doesn't suspect that German is not at all who he claims to be... Soon, a Mosfilm employee named Alexander Kobzar (Yuri Chursin) arrives in town. At least, that's how he introduces himself to Karina after saving her from suicide... Karina faces a difficult journey. She will have to discover what role these men are destined to play in her life, what she herself is willing to do for love, and how to earn a lot of money in the conditions of Soviet scarcity without ending up in prison...
