Baantjer het Begin (2019 - 2020)

In the 1980s, police officer Jude Cox has seen it all during his time in the police force, but when he is transferred to the department dealing with particularly dangerous crimes, the brutality of the murders shocks him. In the cozy Amsterdam, where roses bloom on quiet streets and ducks swim in the canals, it turns out that huge drug cartels, dangerous terrorists, serial killers, and weapon-selling gangs are hiding. Together with his new partner Montino, Cox will have to uncover the dark underbelly of this European city. They will discover the true face of Amsterdam: a city of sin.
