Virtua Fighter (1995 - 1996)

The anime adaptation of the first-ever 3D fighting game. According to legend, whoever is able to see eight magical lights in the sky will be recognized as the master of the martial art Bajiquan. At first glance, a young man named Akira Yuki doesn't seem to have such a prospect: to others, he is just a simpleton and a glutton. But in reality, he has gone through grueling training and is confident that soon the secrets of the heavens will be revealed to him. However, on his path to recognition, Yuki will have to confront formidable opponents and even deal with a military threat.
